About us

Helping women rise with learning, dignity, and opportunity.

Aminatu Shaibu Foundation exists to stand beside women and girls facing barriers to learning, confidence, wellbeing, and economic opportunity. We believe compassionate action should be both immediate and sustainable.

Who we are

A women-focused foundation built on trust, learning, and practical support.

We collaborate with educators, women's groups, volunteers, and community leaders to identify where support is most urgently needed. Our programs are designed to reduce everyday pressure on vulnerable households while creating better long-term outcomes for women and girls.

From literacy support and mentorship to giving initiatives, starter kits, and wellbeing outreach, we prioritize solutions that are practical, respectful, and easy to sustain.

Our mission

To provide training that equips women with the knowledge and confidence to start and grow successful small businesses.

We remove barriers that limit learning, confidence, and opportunity by connecting women with responsive support, practical resources, and generous communities.

Our vision

Communities where every woman is equipped to learn, contribute, and give forward.

We see a future where timely support, strong networks, and trusted partnerships make it possible for women to thrive with confidence.

Our values

The principles guiding our learning and giving work.

Compassion

We respond with empathy and respect to the real pressures women and caregivers face.

Integrity

We communicate honestly, steward resources carefully, and follow through on our commitments.

Collaboration

We build alongside communities, knowing shared ownership leads to stronger and longer-lasting impact.

Accountability

We measure progress, welcome scrutiny, and continually improve how support reaches women and caregivers.
